Dip TubesRead more
At room temperature, carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colourless, odorless, non-flammable gas. At other temperatures and pressures, CO2 can be a liquid or a solid. When filled into cylinders it undergoes a transition from gas to liquid at room temperature at an attainable pressure of approximately 60 BAR (870 PSI), allowing far more CO2 to fit in a given container than otherwise would.
Dip tubes, also known as Siphon Tubes or Extraction Tubes, are used in situations where you need to draw out liquid gas. The dip tube acts like a straw and is used to draw out liquid gas from the bottom of the cylinder. When a CO2 cylinder does not have a dip tube it will simply supply vapour from above the liquid.
Our dip tubes are made of copper and are available up to 53” in length. Also available with holes for mixed gases.
Dip Tube Uses:
- Making Dry Ice
- Food preservation and refrigeration
- Extraction Systems
- Special Effects
- Gas Mixing
- Transfilling
* The cylinder valve must be removed in order to install this product.Must be installed by a qualified cylinder technician due to torque specifications. Compressed gas cylinders and valves are dangerous, please use caution.

Cylinder Protective NettingRead more
Cylinder Protective Netting is a unique mesh product, developed to protect compressed gas cylinders during transportation and storage, from wear and tear. Since the netting is soft, it acts as a cushion and it is effective in enhancing cylinder life and reducing costly paint cycles.
Typically, when cylinders are returned for refilling, they are taken out of circulation if damaged. A lot of time and money goes into removing old labels, repainting, and relabeling the cylinders. These low-cost sleeves are simply slipped over each cylinder to provide protection against such damage.
Protective Cylinder Sleeves are designed to cover a large range of diameters, from 4” medical gas cylinders, to 30” or larger propane tanks and may be ordered by the carton in any quantity and a variety of lengths.
Advantages:
- Enhances cylinder appearance
- Protects painted surface against abrasions & shock
- Reduces paint/labeling cycles
- Flexible and easy to install
- Wide range of sizes available

Custom Neck-ring SkirtsRead more
Cylinder neck-ring skirts afford the owner of a cylinder the ability to identify ownership of the cylinder. When cylinders change ownership very often the neck-ring will have the previous owner identified. To replace the neck-ring the process can prove costly and time consuming. The cylinder neck-ring skirt is placed over the existing neck-ring with the identifying label of the new owner and is easily affixed.
Neck-ring skirts enable you to install them over existing neck-rings in minutes. They are secured with an adhesive and come with locking tabs. We can supply these either plain or embossed with a company name. All parts are stocked with a zinc-plated finish.
Features:
- Embossed lettering
- Designed for standard 3 1/8”-11 thread neck for high-pressure cylinders
- Easy to apply with adhesive
- Zinc plated
- Option: Can provide bore for larger thread sizes (i.e., 3 ½” for Acetylene Cylinders)

ManifoldsRead more
Cylinder bulk-pack manifolds are high-pressure structures that are specifically manufactured for interconnecting two or more cylinders to a common gas supply line to obtain more gas from the source. The pressure in the gas manifold system can be adjusted with the help of a pressure regulator.
Manifolds are available in brass and stainless-steel pipe with various copper, flexible and rigid stainless-steel pigtails for every industrial, medical, and high-purity application. Available as stand-alone item or with either permanent or replaceable rigid or flexible leads. Custom manifold manufacturing available.
-
O-RingsRead more
O-rings are used in straight thread valves to provide a gas-tight seal between the valve and the cylinder as the O-ring compresses into the O-ring gland. In the absence of this small and simple contraption, the gas in the cylinder will leak out. Replacement sealing O-rings available in Teflon or Nitrile. O-rings should be replaced every time a valve is reinstalled.
Sizes:
- 210 – for 0.750-16 UNF, available in Teflon and Nitrile
- 216 – for 1.125-12 UNF, available in Teflon and Nitrile
- Additional sizes are available upon request
* The cylinder valve must be removed in order to install this product. Must be installed by a qualified cylinder technician due to torque specifications. Compressed gas cylinders and valves are dangerous, please use caution.

Carbo-SwitchRead more
Never lose CO2 during a rush — Carbo-Switch™ senses and switches CO2 tanks automatically. Carbo-Switch™ 2100: When the customer’s supply regulator is attached to the output fitting of the Carbo-Switch™, it will read the pressure of Tank 1, while the gauge on the right side of the unit will read the pressure of Tank 2. The Carbo-Switch™ first draws gas from Tank 1. At this point, the output from the Carbo-Switch™ unit is equal to the regulator setting of Tank 1. When the pressure of Tank 1 drops to 200 psi, the Carbo-Switch™ begins drawing gas from Tank 2. As soon as Tank 1 is replaced, the Carbo-Switch™ begins drawing from Tank 1 again. Should the pressure of Tank 2 drop below 200 psi before Tank 1 is replaced, the Carbo-Switch™ will draw from both cylinders equally until both are empty, or one or more of the cylinders are replenished. The Carbo-Switch™ is pressure operated and has no moving mechanical or electrical parts to fail.
Carbo-Switch™ 3100: Carbo-Switch™ 3100 is a three-cylinder Automatic Switchover Manifold with same operating principle as the two-cylinder Carbo-Switch™ manifold except there are two cylinders on the primary supply side and one cylinder as the back-up gas source Carbo-Switch™5100: Carbo-Switch 5100 is a Five-Cylinder Automatic Switchover Manifold that operates the same as the two-cylinder Carbo-Switch™ manifold except there are four cylinders on the primary supply side and one cylinder for the back-up gas reserve.

LP Acetylene Cylinders
Acetylene cylinders contain acetylene gas, dissolved in acetone, that is absorbed onto a calcium silicate porous mass within the cylinder. The porous mass is designed to inhibit decomposition, which, when left to itself, could create an extremely hazardous and volatile condition. Acetylene cylinders should always be stored in an upright position to avoid any leaks or unwanted reactions.
Acetylene cylinders are used with oxygen to produce and intense flame at temperatures up to 6,300°F and are used for welding, cutting, soldering and other metal preparations. Their portability makes it a great choice for on-site jobs and there is no electricity needed to operate. All acetylene cylinders are TC and DOT approved [except 40 CF (B-Big Flange) – which is DOTonly].
Certified Cylinder Services Inc. uses an Asbestos-Free Silicate that is chemically stable, highly porous, and Acetone-Retentive. We make it a priority to keep all sizes of LP Acetylene Cylinders in stock and ready to ship when you need them.
- Capacities: 10 CF (MC) up to 450 CF
